USM welcomes inaugural class of new nurse anesthesiology program | News
HATTIESBURG (WDAM)- Students of the new nurse anesthesiology program participated in a clinical Wednesday at Forrest General Hospital.
It's part of a memorable chapter to USM's College of Nursing.
Following an extensive selection and interview process, 20 students were chosen for the new program; which will include 36 consecutive months of study and later will award a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
The inaugural group underwent orientation sessions from January 8-9.
