It's a furry situation.

The owners of Pet Palace sent us this video of two people who stole a ferret from the store.

Two Hattiesburg residents who operated a personal care home have been arrested and charged with exploitation of vulnerable persons, announced Attorney General Jim Hood today.

University Police arrest suspect in hit-and-run accident

University of Southern Mississippi Police has arrested a suspect related to last Sunday’s hit-and-run accident on 4th St. in Hattiesburg that left one student injured.

The suspect is being held at the Forrest County Jail, and will be formally charged on Friday with a felony for “leaving the scene of an accident causing injury.”

FBI Requests Public's Assistance

Eleven individuals were indicted this week on federal drug charges, U.S. Ten of the defendants were arrested, April 4 and police are still on the lookout for one who is still at large.

Police are searching for Fredrick Charles McCaulp, 21, of Brookhaven. McCaulp is charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute more than 28 grams of crack cocaine. If anyone has information concerning his whereabouts, contact the FBI in Jackson at 601-948-5000.
